Alappuzha- famous for back waters in kerala, a small state of INDIA.With the arabian sea in the west and a
vast network of lakes , lagoons, and fresh water rivers....It si called
as the Venice of ease by travelers from across the world.
Today, alappuzha is a must to see destination for the tourists and important back water destination attracting several foreigners and other domestic tourists. The main attraction of the alappuzha, is their House boat cruise through the beautiful backwaters...alappuzha is also famous for its boat race, beaches, and marine products...A singularity of this land is the region called kuttanad-a land of lush paddy fields and it is the only place in the world where farming is done below sea level.
